Story
I began making jewellery in my college room in 2023, teaching myself at a small desk and making pieces for friends and family. The practice grew very simply from there, with just a bench, a few tools, and a lot of experimentation.
I work primarily in 999 silver, which has a brighter, whiter finish than 925 sterling silver. I’m drawn to the way it wears over time and I prefer not to over-refine the surface. Tool marks, softened edges, and small irregularities are intentionally preserved so that each piece retains a sense of having been handled rather than manufactured.
Most pieces develop through direct conversation. I discuss scale, budget, and practical constraints, then translate those discussions into sketches and prototypes. The making process itself is deliberately slow, allowing the final object to reflect both the material and the interaction that shaped it.
Each piece is produced as an individual work rather than a repeated design.
